Trophy Taker Pro Staff Brad Lasater

First and foremost, I am a dedicated husband and father of two beautiful girls. I wouldn't get to do this passion of mine without their blessing. I am grateful that they give me the freedom to chase after my dream.

I picked up my first bow just over 10 years ago. I wanted to be an archer, so the most common answer was to bow hunt. After 3 fairly unsuccessful seasons, I realized that all I really wanted to do was just shoot, so I climbed down out of the tree and started practicing... a lot! I put all my energy into learning about the major archery organizations, and tried to find the perfect fit. 3D was fun and I had some success at it, but I quickly realized that my passion was shooting indoor spots and outdoor field. I quickly realized that to get better I needed to get some serious coaching. I have been blessed to learn under the watchful eye of great coaches like Larry Wise and Terry Wunderle. Both taught me how to have great form, as well as to focus solely on the shot, and everything will come out in the end.

In 2010, I joined the Pro Staff at Buck Stop Archery in West Dundee, IL as a certified coach. My joy is to teach children and adults how to shoot at the top of their abilities. I get to help anyone that comes through the door, and I am grateful that I am allowed to be there.

The summer of 2014 will be the completion of my 2nd year as an NFAA Pro, and I have aspirations to continue to build on already great success and to eventually come out on top of the biggest archery stage in the world - Vegas.

Thank you to my family, friends, and sponsors who believe in me and support me. I wouldn't be here without you...
