My passion for the outdoors started at just 12 years of age with small game. As I grew older I tried other outdoor activities like fishing and shooting sports.
In 1996, I joined the U.S.M.C. and sharpened my skills as a woodsman. Upon completion of my duty, the thirst and love for the outdoors grew enormously. I was then introduced to archery and the rest is history.
In 2004, I started taking it more serious than ever before. In 2006, I began competitive archery and in 2007 a pro shop in the New Orleans area gave me a shot at becoming a pro staff member. Since then I've become a pro staff member for several companies in the hunting industry, and I've also become a certified bow hunter and hunter safety instructor for Louisiana.
My goal is to pass this heritage on to the youth. With the support from a great company like Trophy Taker, it makes my job easy both teaching and hunting. There is a philosophy that I live by, "It's not how many big bucks I harvest, it's about how many big smiles are on kids’ faces when I teach them to harvest their first buck!"
